Inact's journey started in 2002, where we, under the name Intellitory, set out to help companies use their data smarter. Later, we became ABC Softwork, and for many years we specialized in ABC-analysis.

But over the years, we outgrew both the name and the framework.

Companies' challenges evolved, complexity increased with growth, and the need for coherence in the supply chain became even clearer. These developments required a new approach.

That is why today we are called Inact.

With a new name also comes a new narrative and a new direction: To help small and medium-sized enterprises reduce unhealthy complexity and create sustainable, data-driven growth.

In 2018, we took the decisive step when we developed our cloud technology, Inact Now.

This has generated growth and opened new opportunities for us. 

So, even though we still master ABC-analysis, we've become much more than that. We now work purposefully with Complexity Management because we know that the ability to manage complexity is the key to profit, sustainability, and strategic clarity.

When our CEO and founder, Søren Sofus Petersen, established the company, it was with a clear mission: to create a healthier way to run and develop a business.

By helping companies reduce unhealthy complexity and produce the right things, rather than the most things, we contribute to a more responsible future for both business and production. 

That is our story. 

And it has only just begun.
